Apart from the birthday meal treat from my aunt at Sakae Teppanyaki, my bf treat me Italian food at Bravo Italiana which is located at I Avenue. It’s just located next to the 100 Yen shop which sells Japanese stuffs such as snacks, household appliances and some fancy stuffs.
Both of us ordered set dinner. We were served with soup of the day (pumpkin soup).
This is my first time tasting pumpkin soup, so there isn’t any expectation for the soup. But I wonder why there’s no pumpkin taste in the soup. Instead I munched on some chunks of potato in the soup. It feels weird to me, to have potato in pumpkin soup. There’s a hint of oregano leaves flavour in the soup.

It’s served with garlic bread. The garlic bread is toasted just nice, not too garlicky taste as I don’t like garlic.
I ordered Lamb Shank. It’s braised with Italian herbs, garlic, tomato, mushroom and red wine. The outer layer of the lamb shank tasted a bit hard but beneath it’s quite tender. I like the mash potato which is not too creamy in taste and there are with bits of potato in it. The serving size is quite big and I am not able to finish it.
My bf ordered Chicken Napoli. The chicken breast was fried, then baked with sliced tomato and mozzarella cheese. The chicken is very fragrant. The chicken taste good, but it would be better if chicken thigh is used. The spaghetti sauce is a bit too sourly for me, but overall it taste ok.
After main course, the dessert of the day was served. It was chocolate cake with blueberry cheese. I just luv this cake. The chocolate layer melt right in my mouth. The blueberry cheese then neutralize the sweetness of the chocolate. Describing about it make me craving for this cake again.

As it was my birthday that day, my bf ordered a piece of tiramisu for me. Thanks for the dinner and everything! He knows I was craving for it after I read the review from PenangTuaPui. The Savoiardi (I called it bread stick) which is fully absorbed with coffee and liquor just melted in my mouth. It’s very fragrant with coffee aroma.

The interior of the restaurant.
I found a very interesting picture in the restaurant. A picture of a chili bottles. The chili bottles are not repeated.

Pumpkin soup! So neutral. But need other ingredients to bring it out. Chicken? Beef? Never tried pumpkin until introduced to me by Filipinos. Pumpkin also blend well with anchovies or dried shrimps are nice.
