It’s always a happy day during weekend as it’s a non working day.
Normally we would drive to town area for late breakfast. This is one of my favourite place for breakfast, the food are great and there are lots of choices.
My favourite would be curry mee. This curry mee stall has been featured by Rasa Rasa Penang.

It’s just a very simple bowl of curry mee with some long beans, marinated squid and bean curd. From the picture you also will know that this is my bowl of curry mee as you can’t see any cockles and pig’s blood. Yaya… I know you are going to say I just missed the best part of curry mee right? All my friends and colleagues also said the same thing everytime I eat curry mee with them. hehe…
What to do? I just don’t fancy those 2 ingredients and my health also won’t tolerate me to eat any cockles.

The soup base was very fragrant. The soup base is not as white as Air Itam Sister Curry Mee. As for the chili, Air Itam Sister Curry Mee is much spicier.

Although it’s not the first time I eat here, but it’s my first time to order char koay kak. It’s fragrant with adequate wok hei. The char koay kak is more to slighty wet version. There is a generous amount of pickle raddish which is to my liking.

Another of my must order food when I visit this place. Pancake. This pancake is fried with egg, raisin, banana & sesame until fragrant. The sweetness of banana and raisins go well with the flour. The outer layer of this pancake is fried until golden brown which enhance the fragrant. The one that I had at Sin Kim San coffee shop is not comparable to this.

This coffee shop is always crowded with people everytime I pay a visit here. Guess must be due to the good food huh.

I don’t want cockles to be added too.
But, pig’s blood still acceptable.

Hey where exactly is this? The food looks really familiar… is it New Cathay coffee shop, opposite Bellisa Row? I believe everything tastes good in that shop, with the exception of the wantan mee.

I don’t really trust Rasa Rasa Penang after they included a really crappy mee goreng at Gurney Drive into the book. But yeah the curry mee looked really nice.. would like to have a bowl now~

NKOB,
It’s not in the market. It’s at a coffee shop next to Hong Leong bank.
