Laksa soup, fish and laksa noodle… all these were swimming and fighting in my stomach afte the laksa’s’ in our laksa marathon trip part I & part II. We still have one target place in mind for laksa but our stomach are not able to take it at that time. To give our ‘little’ stomach sometime for digestion before another bowl of laksa, we drove up to Bukit Genting to see if there’s any nice scene for photography.
Only able to take a few shots as the weather was too hot, I am not able to withstand it. Before I continue with my third bowl of laksa, let me share some shots I took at Bukit Genting first.
Butterfly shot.

Green green view from top…

Another angle of the butterfly.

Durian! Now it’s durian season and balik pulau is definitely a great place for durian lovers as there are lots of durian farms there. But not for me, as I’d be 3 feet away whenever I smell durian taste. Some people questioned me whether am I a Malaysian?? Some Korean or Japanese purposely come to Malaysia during durian season just for durian. But me…

Dunno what flower is this…

Enough of deviation from food huh. Let’s continue with our third part in our laksa marathon. This laksa stall is located in a house. It’s well known among Balik Pulau residents. Other than laksa, hokkien mee is sold here too.

Asam laksa. It’s tasted equally good with Nan Guang asam laksa except this one tasted more sourish.

Simple Girl,
the taste would be different if it were eaten in an air-cond room, lost the hawker feel d. :p But still it would be great to enjoy it in air-cond room as sweating is avoidable.
