It’s been quite sometime since my last post which is on Ko Fu Loft the new Chinese Restaurant in Gurney Plaza.
Let’s continue blogging with something sweet.
Desserts… my favourite! I’ve been invited by a friend of mine to join Shervone Cake Tasting session held at Isaribi Japanese Restaurant. Shervone had been in cake baking industries for 4 years. Shervone creates the masterpiece of cake for your memorable occasions. They supplies cheese cakes, kids cakes, wedding cakes, pastry, cookies and diaper cakes.

Before we started the feast on the cakes displayed on a long table, Mr. Yeoh the owner of Shervone Cake explain the speciality of each cakes to all of us.

Celebration Fruity was served in a 3-tier cake stand. This cake taste very fruity and has lots of cream in it. I like the fruity part but not the cream part. :p

It’s nicely decorated with lots of fruits – grapes, kiwi, peach and strawberries.

Swiss Fruity Cheese Gold is one of Shervone best selling cake. The swiss roll layered with cranberry is topped with cheese.

I like the combination of cranberry with cheese. There isn’t any heavy taste of cheese which is just to my liking.

Does it look like a volcano to you? Well… Indulgence is the name of the cake. The chocolate sponge cake with layer of chocolate fudge is topped with chocolate, strawberry, macarons, pecan nut and forrero rocher chocolate.

You definitely need some skill to cut this cake

Swiss Cherry Cheese – look at those cherry on top of the cake. I just love the juicy cherry!

Sushi Roll – This is inspired by Isaribi Tei the Japanese Restaurant. A Japanese Restaurant must have sushi, rite! There are 2 flavours of this sushi roll. I only remember that one is mango flavour. Well… it’s kinda hard to remember so many types of cakes with so many flavour in such a short time.
