The first round of satay was not able to satisfy our cravings. We ordered tomyam chicken (RM 1.20), black pepper lamb (RM 1.50) and beef satay (RM 1.20) for the second round.
The black pepper lamb satay and beef satay is a good one too. Tender, well marinated and juicy satay!
The only drawback is the tomyam chicken. The meat is dry and coarse with overpowering lemongrass taste.

The satay sauce is thick and full of peanuts. Later only we found out that, on every Thursday some special sauce will be served which is Tongkat Ali satay sauce, pineapple satay sauce and green apple satay sauce.

We didn’t manage to try the squid satay as it’s sold out, but we will definitely be back for it and for the special sauces.
At the end of the meal, we had a short conversation with Mr. Basri the onwer of Ah Basri Satay house.
He actually has a satay manufacturing factory at Sg. Ara area and the workers have to wear jump suit and gloves inside the factory. Jump suit? I thought it’s only applicable for those clean room semiconductor industry?
The worker who grill the satay must wear gloves too to maintain cleaniness.
Ah Basri does amazed me! Futhermore, according to Ah Basri his product has gone thru R&D and market survey before release to market. OMG~~ that sound so profesional to me!
Ah Basri satay is claimed to be detoxified satay and according to Mr. Basri the meat will go thru a detoxify process (Okamizu process) before it is being proceed to next process of making the satay.
More photos to make you salivate! LOL

Simple Girl,
I do agree with you that the price is higher compare to other satay stall, but the portion is bigger and the cleanliness of the place is worth the money pays.

Hi Sf,
I’ve got a map at the end of my blog. Hope you are able to find the place.
Here’s a simple direction:
From Pisa (PISA on your left), go straight until you meet a traffic light which turns into Sg. Ara. Take right turn. Go straight until you meet a T-junction, take a left turn and the satay is on your left.
