Tom yam soup – This one went well with white rice too! It’s has milder flavour comparing to Thai Tom Yam.

USD 1 for 2 coconuts. It’s an effective way to cure our thirsty throat despite the lack of coconut fragrant.

Free fruits for us.

We continue our trip to Angkor Wat the world’s largest religious monument.
Angkor Wat is a pyramid of three levels, each one enclosed by a well-developed gallery with four gopuras and corner towers. The summit is crowned with five towers in a quincunx.
The outer limits of Angkor Wat are set by its broad moat.

I personally like Angkor Wat temple very much. Somehow I feel very peaceful and relaxing when I walked deeper into this temple. The feeling is so different compare to other temples that I’ve visited earlier.

We were told by our tour guide that sometime ago, there’s an elderly couple climbed this steep stairs.
Unfortunately, the wife slipped and lost her life. Therefore, the husband build a handrail at this staircase to avoid the unfortunate case to re-occur.
The local people named this staircase as the ‘Lover’s staircase‘.

Stones are seens stacked up high which it’s believe to bring good luck. The higher the stone is stacked, the better the luck is.
Of course I didn’t miss out this.
