Pearl Palace Restaurant

A corner for those who enjoys drinking chinese tea.

The dinner was started with Fish Steamboat. Soup base boiled with fried fish, chinese cabbage with added milk. Simply awesome!

Fresh fish with vegetables and tofu soaked in the flavourful soup base. I can’t resist that, can you ?

There are 3 sets meal for the fish steamboat available to cater from 4 pax to max 10 pax. Details as below:

Set A (RM 68 +) for max 4 pax – 1 Fresh Fish, tofu, fish balls, vegetable, chicken meat, crab rolls, meehoon/white rice.

Set B (Rm 128+) for max 7 pax – 1 Fresh Fish, tofu, fish balls, vegetable, chicken meat, crab rolls, prawns, fresh mushrooms, sotong, meehoon/white rice.

Set C (RM 228+) for max 10 pax – 1 Fresh Fish, tofu, fish balls, sotong balls, vegetable, chicken meat, chicken meat balls, crab rolls, prawns, fresh mushrooms, sotong, fish maw, meehoon/white rice.

I still prefer the fish steamboat at Starview. Had an unpleasant experience at Pearl Palace last year. The chef was very defensive and hostile when we gave feedback about the steamboat add-on ingredients (fishballs) which were not fresh.

    My Food Fetish,
I’m sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience. I’m not sure if they’ve changed their chef as the chef that I met is very open to feedback and suggestion.
