A lok lok style rojak! + a visit to Kuala Muda

Basically 2 common bowls of rojak sauce are served – one is spicy, the other is without. The proper way of eating is to dip the fruit one by one in the sauce. DO NOT lick the sauce from the fruit or bite half of the food, then re-dip the fruit into the sauce. That is disgusting!

Each stick of fruits cost RM 0.40.

My shooting friend. He’s so happy that we brought him to eat this rojak :) Guess how many sticks he’d eaten?

Actually earlier of the day, we went to Kuala Muda, Kedah for photo shooting purpose. It’s actually a fishing village with a market which sells the fresh harvest from the sea. But it wasn’t a good day for shooting as when we arrive, as wind was strong  and sky was getting darker.

I would like to share some of the shots taken on that day with my readers :)

Fishermen just arrived at the shore with their catchings.

Fresh tiger prawns.

this rojak sauce lok lok reminds me of my childhood in Padang Serai especially the way the cucumber is cut & skewered.

Cool!! Nvr seen those rojak before loh!

And Pasar Bisik is such an interesting find!
I guess it is more mannerful to whisper instead of outright outbidding (by shouting) your competitor??

Reminds me of those Sothebys auction y knw..where the well heeled and rich raise their “sign” each time they want to raise their bid for an item ;)

No need to go so far for this …. you can get it at Bukit Mertajam. The uncle is located in front of BM High School starting from 4pm to 7pm. It is right next to the railway station.

    Bee,
The buyer whisper the price to the seller is due to they do not want to reveal their calling price. Is actually a way to outdo the competitor too :)
