Ah Weng Koh Famous Hainan Coffee and Roti Kahwin @ Imbi Market

Taraa… my perfect bowl of half boiled egg. Yummy!

A cup of Hainan Coffee which is thick, smooth and rich in coffee aroma. I normally don’t fancy those coffee serve in coffee shop but this one taste good!

The only drawback eating here is that we all feel very ‘pressure’ because the owner of the coffee shop will take order from you in a rush. Like, ‘Coffee 5 cups? , roti 5 sets?, eggs 5 sets?‘ once we sat down. I guess most of his customers are those of regular one. We don’t even have the time to think on what to order. :P

Deep fried popiah.

Dry version of curry wan tan mee. I used to eat this at my hometown but I yet can find this in Penang.

Although the noodle is not that QQ, but the fragrant curry do compensate on the noodle.

The normal version of wan tan mee with char siew and mushroom as toppings. Both tasted equally good.

Other than these food, there are lots and lots of other type of food available in this Imbi Market. I would like to try most of them, but my stomach does not have such big capacity :P

yeah, one of the BEST place for breakfast in KL.
if only it’s not THAT crowded every morning!
and kinda funny (and scary) to see the Hainan guys running around shouting their orders like arguing.

I had no idea that was called Roti Kahwin!! I would’ve thought it would involve more complicated ingredients, coz that’s what Kahwin means right, haha! Nice one… Imbi Market rocks!!

    J2Kfm,
Ya. I’d love to go back there for breakfast if only it’s not that crowded, but still I’d go back for more food as they are so irresistible.

    MnYfoodtalk,
I personally feel that this is much better than the Sg. Tiram one. Maybe I’m so used to the Sg. Tiram one, and started to get boring :P
