Ah Weng Koh Famous Hainan Coffee and Roti Kahwin @ Imbi Market

I am actually salivating when I’m writing this post. I miss the taste of it, too bad I can’t get this at Penang. Ah Weng Koh Hainan Tea is a famous stall selling authentic Hainan Coffee and toasted bread which is located at Imbi Market.

My bf’s brother introduced this place to us during our last trip to KL.

Thian Hoe Restaurant at Gurun

After our morning shooting session at Kuala Muda, we hunt around for food. Our initial plan is to go for the Yau Yue Ong Choy (cuttlefish convolvulus) at Gurun. I miss the taste of the yau yue ong choy after I’ve tasted it once. But we are out of luck that day. The shop is close on Saturday. Since our stomach is already crying for food, we just stopped by a restaurant nearby for lunch. Thian Hoe Restaurant is just located a few doors away from the cuttlefish convolvulus stall.

Pearl Palace Restaurant

Pearl Palace Restaurant is residing humbly at Setia Pearl Island Country Club. Considering the location of this restaurant, I don’t think that anyone would have walk-in into this restaurant for lunch or dinner purpose. But I personally feel that it’s a nice place for a function such as wedding, reunion dinner, friends gathering and etc.

Penang Famous Toasted Bread @ Toh Soon Cafe

Allie’s been missing in action for quite sometime. Hope that my readers will forgive me as I’ve been caught up with something lately and it took lots and lots of my time. However, I managed to take a break from the tedious schedule.

This place is suitable for breakfast and also tea time. This is one of the gem in Penang Island. It’s just a simple stall located at a small alley in Campbell Street but it’s always crowded with people. Are you wondering now what food do they sell? Scroll down… but  most Penangnites will know when they see the first picture.

Cambodia (Siem Reap Trip) – Day 3

It’s a drizzling morning on our 3rd day at Siem Reap. Our tour guide brought us to a coffee shop which serve famous Cambodia food.

Upon seated, we saw a few delicacies ready served on the table. Those delicacies looks like our dim sum. At first I thought those are free. But then only I found out that it’s not.
